History:
In the early 1900s, the company successfully secured customers such as Buick. In 1924, Muzzy-Lyon merged with Federal Bearings and Bushing, a leader in engine braking, to form the Federal Mogul Corporation. Through rapid growth in the 20th century, the company acquired Cooper Industries and its brands, including Anco wipers, Champion ignition products, MOOG chassis products, Wagner and Abex friction products, as well as Wagner and Blazer lighting products. In 2012, the company split into two divisions: Powertrain and Motorparts. In October 2018, the entire company was acquired by Tenneco Group.
